HI! I'm Nico.

At 17 months I still have a lot of puppy in me, but what's not to love about that? I do like to go for a good run, but I'll settle for a long walks. I'd really like to have a fenced yard. I know basic commands, like sit, shake & stay. But like any puppy - if I'm excited, I might not respond right away.

I do like most dogs, I'm living w/ a small female dog now and she's my pal . . . but when I was 9 months old, a not so friendly Pit Bull jumped me and broke my leg. As a result, I'm not a fan of dogs that look like "that guy". Also I don't think I'd like to live with cats.

KCDR's comments: Nico is a tall handsome guy, that through no fault of his own is about to be homeless. He's a 17 month old boy who has not had any formal training. As a result, he doesn't know his "place in the pack" and is in danger of making wrong decisions. He's done very well w/ his current family which includes young children, but they are the children that he grew up with. He'll be a lot happier when he has had some training and understands who is in charge and what is expected of him.

KCDR is helping find him a forever home and will offer a "Training Scholarship" for him and his new owners. He needs to learn Rules & Structure, so we will pay for obedience classes - but you do have to finish the class. Nico is a good guy, but he is typical of a puppy who hasn't had direction. That wasn't his fault and we really are Nico boosters -we want him to succeed and find the right home.
